WHERE CAN I FIND A NEWSPAPER? I NEED A NEWSPAPER!

Students at UWEC have no excuse when they say they lack the resource of a newspaper. A newspaper is very easy to find and is conveniently located in the library. What a surprise! On the second floor of the library one can find local, state, national, and newspapers in foreign languages written in America geared for a specific population. While looking at the Newspapers, I selected The New York Times. The heading stated $250 Billion Plan Seeks to Address Crisis in Housing. This article describes how Obama plans to help homeowners refinance their mortgages and avoid foreclosure. With this plan over nine million American homeowners will be helped. Obama knows that this plan will not save every home, but instead he hopes that it will give many Americans the chance to rebuild. With the library’s abundance of newspapers there is no reason that students should not be informed on current events.
